CERTIFICATE IN WORKING WITH THE BODY

Limited spaces left in an exciting new online course, running between 5pm-8pm for six Wednesdays in a row, starting from the 1st of Sept. 

​

During the course, we will explore some of the different therapeutic approaches to working with the body. I am a Polyvagal Theory informed therapist, and the content of this course will be highly influenced by the theory. 

​

Each week we will look at a different piece of theory from a number of different embodied approaches, before practicing specific skills related to the topic. 

​

This will be an experiential training, and very practical. I will be invited participants to get to know their own bodies better, in order to develop an embodied approach to their clinical work.

​

Among other things we shall be exploring:

​

• Autonomic shifts in ourselves and our clients.

• The different areas of the body to explore with clients.

• Working with "stuck" energy. 

• Increasing awareness of our own bodies.

• How to discharge energy. 

• How to talk to the body.

Course fees:

​

The fee is £260 and you will receive an 18 hour CPD certificate.  To secure a place I require either the full payment, or a 20% deposit.  If the deposit is paid, the full fee will be due one month before the course begins on the 1st of Aug.  Any cancellations made with more than two weeks notice, will be refunded in full minus the deposit.  If less than two weeks notice is given, the course in non-refundable.
